Sathsathai participated in 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC. The 27th United Nations Climate Change conference, held from 6 November until 20 November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
Nepal Government Delegate and Sathsathai’s founder Ms. Prajeeta Karki participated and screened her documentary video “Women’s Voice for Climate Justice” on the side events of ICIMOD Cryosphere Pavilion (8th Nov), Rural Reconstruction Nepal (9th Nov 5:30pm Egypt time).
In the event organized by International Cryosphere Climate Initiative: Adaptation and Mountains (4pm Egypt time), Nepal Government delegate Ms. Deepa Oli attended the event personally, Dr. Siddhartha Bajra Bajracharya, Mr. Balkrishna Basnet and Ms. Deena Paneru attended virtually via Zoom.
